Join us on May 5 as we gather in remembrance, solidarity, and action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). This day is a time to honour the lives lost, support families and communities, and raise awareness of the ongoing crisis.

We will begin with a march from Cottonwood Park to City Hall. Participants are encouraged to bring their drums as we walk together in unity and remembrance.

Following the march, we will gather at the Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery for light snacks and refreshments. This will be a space to connect, reflect, and support one another.

Afterward, attendees are invited to visit the REDress exhibit inside the museum. This powerful installation serves as a visual reminder of the missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, calling attention to their absence and the need for justice.
