Dandelion Salad

A simple, high antioxidant salad rich in vitamins! Easy to make and gather!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 lb dandelion leaves
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 3 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp sugar optional

Equipment

  • 1 skillet
  • 1 kitchen knife
  • 1 pot

Method
 

  1. Wash and shred dandelion leaves, dry well and set aside.
  2. Fry bacon in skillet until crisp.
  3. Add vinegar, sugar, and water to bacon. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bring to a boil and pour over dandelion greens, Serve immediately.
