Method
- Remove rose hip blossom ends, stems and leaves, and rinse
- Boil rose hips in a saucepan with water until tender (est. 20 minutes)
- Mash rose hips and weigh the pulp
- Add 1 cup of sugar per pound (lb) of pulp
- Bring to a boil, stirring frequently (est. 10 minutes)
- Pour into sterilized jars to cool slightly
- Seal in a hot water bath
